The recent proposals from Social Protection Minister Regina Doherty’s department are open for debate ………… so I did on Live95FM ‘Limerick Today’ show.

Nothing in relation to the proposed compulsory pension scheme is set in stone and so with the introduction of Auto-enrolment planned on a phased basis from 2022, I got the opportunity to discuss live on air with Joe Nash from Limerick Today.  While this “strawman” proposal is intended to generate discussion and debate around the proposed compulsory pension scheme, its disadvantages and seek improved alternatives, I seized the opportunity to discuss this topic which is about to change the Irish pension landscape for ever.  Check out my podcast from ‘Limerick Today’s show on Live95fm.
